INDRA GANESAN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING as a quest for knowledge inaugurated electric vehiclelaboratory with collaboration with TVS. To cater the needs and facilitate the student a practical experience in learning through practice and as it is the need for the hour for engineers.This electric vehicle laboratory based automobile projects were undertaken by the students and practical knowledge were explored by the students.

As a outcome of the exploration of the students electric vehicle features old and updated version and trends are compared and through this practical experience student updated their knowledge in the salient features of electric vehicle and they started to produce awareness among the public and promote electric vehicle through their projects and presentation in various forums and also they add electric vehicle is a value added project that minimize pollution and protect atmosphere and save fossil fuel.

Electric vehicle laboratory paves way for young engineers to take active participation electric vehicle and promoting its usage and our laboratory provides necessary facilities to educate the students with the help of this facilities student gain whole some knowledge in electric vehicle and do research and go for further scope of study on Electric vehicle.
