Department Overview
The Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2008 based on the need and demand of IT industry, with an intake of 60 students.
The department imparts design, development, implementation and management of computer-based Information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware. IT deals with the effective use of computer software and computer hardware to convert, store, protect, process, transmit and securely retrieve information through communication technologies.
Our Focus Areas
Software Engineering, Database Systems, Network Security, Web Technologies, Cloud Computing, Data Science, and Emerging Technologies in IT.
